Will Mathias Bossaerts career soon continue in Belgium? If it is up to him: most likely. The 19 year old defender and his club Manchester City are open to a loan spell in his home country of Belgium.
"I want to go on loan before I sign a contract extension at Manchester City," Mathias Bossaerts said last month in to a Belgian newspaper. "I prefer to try to a Dutch or Belgian club." At City they have high hopes that Bossaerts will turn out just like Jason Denayer after a year on loan at another club.
Club Brugge are interested in taking the youngster on loan since Bjorn Engels injured himself, and the another defender at Brugge is deemed unfit. However, a loan spell could prove that he deserves an extension of his current contract that is running until 2016.
